Global Supply Chain Director

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection and border surveillance. We are looking for Supply Chain Director.

Job Description:

• Manage tactical and strategic global procurement.

• Manage and control tactical procurement KPI’s (order approvals, OTD, deliveries, returns, cost reduction, PPV).

• Control of strategic procurement and strategy.

• Establish yearly cost reduction plan.

• Oversee and control material arrivals and shortages in alignment with production work plans and planning forecast.

• Escalation for material / supplier’s issues.

Manage mechanic’s subcontractors.

• Oversee materials for OBS (Obsolete) and EOL (End-of-Life) activities, ensuring smooth transitions.

• Control and mitigation plan for supply chain risks.

• Control and mitigation for hazardous materials.

• Implement and execute MRP recommendations for material postponement or expediting.

• Establish and develop advanced work methods.

• Reports to the VP Production & Supply Chain.

Requirements:

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management or matching experiance.

• At least 5 years of experience working with suppliers.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in an manufacturing organization. Significant advantage for experience from defense companies.

• Experience working with Priority – an advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of planning, material management, and procurement processes, including within the ERP system.

• Excel – advanced level.

• High-level English – mandatory.

• Ability to work in a team, proactiveness and "can do approach”.

• Good communication skills and negotiation abilities.
