Hardware Engineer

We are looking for

For our company site in MATAM Haifa, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer for Integration Infrastructure and System Testing Development

Join a leading hardware group responsible for the specification, development, and deployment of integration and testing environments for advanced avionics systems, aircraft upgrade programs, command and control systems, and system development laboratories. The role combines hardware, software, simulation, and integration disciplines, playing a key part in bringing complex systems from development stages to .successful operational deployment

In this role you will

Lead and take responsibility for all stages of development, design, and implementation of integration and development infrastructures

Analyze requirements, define concepts, and implement detailed hardware solutions

Read and analyze system and electrical drawings and derive engineering insights

Develop hardware solutions, testing configurations, and engineering support tools

Design and implement electrical schematics, system drawings, and cabling solutions for assemblies and subassemblies

Work with testing equipment, IT systems, communication, and simulation platforms

Perform integration between hardware, software, and avionics units

Investigate failures and solve complex system-level issues

Write testing documents, specifications, and laboratory requirement documents

Collaborate with system, software, and mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and additional development teams

Support production, installations, and activities at customer sites in Israel and abroad as required

Requirements

Electrical and Electronics Engineer or Practical Engineer with proven hands-on experience in hardware or system design

Experience in hardware development, integration, or testing for products or systems - Advantage

Experience establishing integration laboratories for aircraft upgrade programs or military systems - Advantage

Military service in a technical role within a depot-level maintenance unit - Advantage

Ability to lead multidisciplinary interfaces and manage subcontractors

Ability to work independently and lead tasks end-to-end while managing multiple assignments simultaneously

Strong English presentation and documentation skills, system-level thinking, high self-learning capability, and willingness to travel abroad
