Role Description-
• Serving as a Lead Power & Hardware Engineer (One-Person Show), taking complete end-to-end ownership of hardware design, board development, and lab bring-up for next-generation silicon evaluation and reference platforms.
• Architecting and designing complex Power Evaluation Boards (EVBs) and test fixtures to validate innovative Power Management ICs (PMICs) and analog power stages.
• Leading full board-design lifecycles: Requirements definition, component selection, Schematic capture, and PCB Layout guidance (high-current, high-frequency, low-noise optimization).
• Driving hands-on Board Bring-Up, Hardware Debugging, and Bench Characterization in the lab using advanced electronic measurement tools (Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Power Analyzers).
• Bridging multidisciplinary domains across high-density Power Electronics, Analog/Mixed-Signal design, and digital control interfaces.
• Working in close collaboration with the founding team, Chip/Silicon Design architects, and external layout/manufacturing subcontractors.
Requirements-
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Hardware Engineering and Board Design – Mandatory
• Proven, deep specialization in Power Electronics / Power Delivery Board Design (e.g., DC-DC converters, Buck/Boost topologies, POL, high-current power stages) – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on background in Mixed-Signal Board Design (combining sensitive Analog circuitry with Digital controls) – Mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience with Lab Bring-Up, Hardware Debugging, and System Validation – Mandatory
• Strong familiarity with PCB layout best practices for power integrity, thermal management, and EMI/EMC – Mandatory
• High degree of independence, entrepreneurial "builder" mindset, and capability to lead hardware domains as a sole owner – Mandatory
• Background working closely with Semiconductor / ASIC evaluation platforms or PMIC validation – Significant Advantage
