Head of Architecture & Technology

Comblack is recruiting a Head of Architecture & Technology !

The role includes managing the department and leading architecture governance across the division, including ARB, ADR methodology, standards, and reference architectures. The position also involves professionally managing architects and vendors, selecting technologies, designing complex systems in On-Premises environments, and integrating AI platforms and intelligent agents.

What are we looking for?

• 8+ years of experience leading technological and infrastructure processes across Cloud and On-Premises environments, including at least 5 years leading Cloud Architecture (AWS / GCP) and 5 years managing technological teams/departments

• Proven experience working in large organizations (1,000+ employees) within a government-regulated environment

• Proven experience leading Architecture Governance processes (ARB, ADR), writing high-level HLD documents and presenting them to senior management, and preparing specifications for tenders and procurement processes

• Experience designing architectures for AI tools, intelligent agents, API Management (Apigee / F5), migration processes, information security and privacy, FinOps, and Landing Zones

• Significant advantage for experience in a government cloud environment (Nimbus), familiarity with the healthcare domain (FHIR/HL7), and certifications such as TOGAF or AWS/GCP Professional Architect
