Our flagship product combines technology and art to create a new kind of media for the home, powered by a growing library of animations and creative content updated daily. Klydoclock is sold through leading design-forward specialty retailers, including the MoMA Design Store, and online platforms such as Uncommon Goods, with a rapidly growing network of retail partners across the U.S.
Artists/creators are at the heart of Klydoclock. As we grow, we're looking for a Head of Artist/Creator Community to find and engage exceptional creative talent, make it easy and intuitive for creators to bring their work to Klydoclock, and build a vibrant global community around the platform. About the Role This is a full-time role based in New York City, reporting directly to the President of Klydoclock.
You will own three key areas: sourcing and engaging artists/creators, improving the creator experience, and building an active creator community.
You'll identify great creative talent and bring them onto Klydoclock, manage relationships and projects, work with our internal teams to make the platform increasingly creator-friendly, and develop programs and events that keep our community connected and engaged.
We're looking for someone who is great with people, highly organized, creative in their approach, and excited about building a community from the ground up. What You'll DoSource & Engage Artists/Creators • Identify and recruit established and emerging artists/creators, animators, designers, studios, and other creative talent.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies through social platforms, creator networks, schools, events, referrals, partnerships, and other channels.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective artists/creators.
• Help creators understand how their existing content can be adapted to Klydoclock or developed specifically for the platform.
• Manage creator relationships and projects from initial outreach through onboarding, content delivery, launch, and ongoing engagement. Improve the Creator Experience • Understand the full creator journey and identify ways to make onboarding, content submission, and participation simpler and more intuitive.
• Work closely with Product and Development to improve creator tools and move toward a more automated and self-service experience.
• Represent the artist/creator perspective internally and turn recurring questions, feedback, and friction into actionable improvements.
• Develop onboarding materials, guidelines, FAQs, tutorials, and other resources that help creators successfully use the platform.
• Work with Content and Marketing to support creator launches and promote their work. Build & Engage the Community • Develop creative ways to build an active and connected global artist/creator community.
• Organize webinars, meetups, workshops, events, office hours, and educational sessions for creators.
• Create programs, themes, challenges, calls for submissions, and other initiatives that encourage participation and new content.
• Develop regular communications that keep creators informed, inspired, and connected.
• Create opportunities to showcase and celebrate creators and their work.
• Track participation and engagement and continuously test new ways to strengthen the community. What We're Looking For • 2–4+ years of experience in creator partnerships, community management, partnerships, project management, marketing, or a related role.
• Strong ability to identify, approach, and build relationships with creative talent.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with consistent follow-through.
• Experience building communities, programs, events, or engagement initiatives.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Development, Content, and Marketing teams.
• A creative, proactive, and independent approach—you enjoy coming up with new ideas and making them happen. Nice to Have • Experience working with artists, creators, animators, designers, studios, or creative communities.
• Experience with creator platforms, marketplaces, media, technology, or consumer products.
• Experience with international communities or partnerships.
• Experience planning creator events, webinars, workshops, or educational programs.
• Familiarity with social media, email marketing, community platforms, and automation tools.
