Head of Engineering

A company in the field of AI-driven cybersecurity is hiring a Head of Engineering in Tel Aviv. This on-site role combines hands-on technical leadership with building a team of security researchers and engineers. The package includes salary and equity.

What You Will Do

• Own engineering direction, delivery, priorities and standards.

• Recruit, manage and develop researchers and engineers.

• Guide architecture across firmware emulation, exploitation and cyber operations capabilities.

• Work directly with the founders to turn strategic goals into engineering plans.

What You Bring

• Proven technical leadership in cyber R&D, vulnerability research, Windows internals, embedded R&D or implant development.

• Offensive security research experience in national security, military cyber units or defense technology.

• Strong hands-on technical expertise and sound judgment on risk, priorities and resources.

• A record of recruiting, retaining and developing technical talent.

Experience managing team leaders, scaling an engineering organization, integrating AI/ML into security tools or shipping offensive platforms is an advantage. Security clearance or classified-environment experience is also a plus.
