Head of Subcontractors & Procurement | Aviation Group

We are looking for a Head of Subcontractors & Procurement to join the Manufacturing Technologies Plant within IAI’s Aviation Group.

The position includes:

• Leading the Supplier Managers domain and managing suppliers providing parts for military and civil aviation projects

• Managing deliveries, purchase orders, and shipments

• Leading risk mitigation activities and supporting development processes, including PMR, PRR, and RRR reviews with suppliers

• Reporting supply forecasts, risks, and delivery status to logistics and supply chain stakeholders

• Leading the commercial aspects of procurement, including procurement committees and supplier negotiations, with responsibility for cost targets and savings

• Driving ongoing integration and collaboration across all relevant disciplines

• Overall responsibility for the domain’s performance and achievement of KPI targets throughout the supply chain

• Defining objectives and performance metrics for Supplier Managers

• Managing an annual activity portfolio of approximately $100M

• Frequent international travel as part of the role

• Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain Management

Requirements:

• Israeli citizenship

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics, or Economics

• At least 5 years of experience managing subcontractors and supply chains

• At least 3 years of direct people management experience in an organization with more than 500 employees

• At least 3 years of experience negotiating with suppliers across various technologies, including machining, sheet metal, composite materials, and piping

• High level of English proficiency

• Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
