Role Description The HW Architect is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hod HaSharon, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. This role is responsible for defining and evolving hardware architectures for complex systems, ensuring alignment with product requirements, performance targets, and cost constraints. Day-to-day activities include analyzing system specifications, creating architecture diagrams, guiding hardware development teams, and collaborating closely with system architects, software engineers, and product managers. The HW Architect evaluates new technologies and components, conducts feasibility studies, and participates in design reviews to ensure robustness, scalability, and reliability of hardware solutions. The role also involves documenting architectural decisions, supporting integration and validation, and contributing to long-term technology roadmaps. Qualifications

• Strong background in hardware architecture, with experience in Hardware Architecture and Computer Architecture.

• Proven experience in end-to-end System Architecture, integrating hardware and software components in complex ICT or embedded systems.

• Hands-on experience in Hardware Development, including board-level design, component selection, and design-for-test and design-for-manufacturing considerations.

• Solid understanding of general Hardware concepts, such as high-speed interfaces, power management, signal integrity, and reliability.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Ability to translate product and system requirements into clear, implementable hardware architectures.

• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary R&D environments and leading technical discussions and design reviews.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in English; Hebrew is an advantage.

• Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and hardware design tools (e.g., CAD tools, simulation and modeling tools) is beneficial.
