The Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority (IMPA) is Israel's Financial Intelligence Unit, established in 2002 under the Prohibition of Money Laundering Law of 2000. IMPA plays a leading role in combating money laundering and terrorist financing locally and internationally, adhering to standards set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). As an independent authority, it analyzes financial intelligence to detect suspicious activities and develop strategies to counter financial crimes. It represents Israel in global organizations such as FATF, MONEYVAL, and the Egmont Group, fostering international collaboration against financial crimes. IMPA also serves as a center of expertise in anti-money laundering and counter-terror financing in Israel and provides guidance nationally and internationally.

Role Description

This is a part-time (96 hours per month) on-site position based in Tel Aviv-Yafo for a student for bachelor's or master's degree. In this role, you will assist in human resource development tasks, administrative support, and organizational projects. Responsibilities include participating in recruitment processes, coordinating internal organizational activities, helping with data collection, and contributing to research and analysis relevant to organizational and human resources development. You will also collaborate with team members to implement HR and organizational strategies aligned with IMPA’s goals.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant digital tools

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program, such as Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, or a related field

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
