Information Security Architect

Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Israel is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our team supporting a client in Jerusalem. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the IT environment conforms to information security regulations and best practices, maintaining a strong security posture, and supporting the design, implementation, and governance of security controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure secure architecture design by reviewing and approving IT changes.

• Maintain and enforce security policies across relevant systems and technologies.

• Detect security weaknesses and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate security risks.

• Perform vulnerability assessment and hardening compliance controls.

• Create and enforce security policies for FW, IPS, WAF, Database FW, XML Firewalls, and EDR solutions.

• Assess security events and advise on SOC alerts and security violations.

• Evaluate security reconfiguration requirements and implement changes as needed.

• Stay up to date with security industry trends and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and frameworks.

• Ensure Risk Assessment and Penetration Test findings are properly mitigated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Security.

• Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices.

• Experience designing secure topologies and controls for systems and applications.

• Deep understanding of IP networking, Linux, and Windows operating systems.

• Understanding of database protection and security controls.

• Experience implementing and managing WAF, Database Firewalls, Network Firewalls, and IDS/IPS solutions.

• Good understanding of SOC technologies, including ArcSight, Splunk, and SOAR.

• Practical knowledge of CIS and NIST hardening standards.

• Ability to analyze risks and recommend appropriate mitigation plans for Risk Assessment and Penetration Testing findings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APT, Zero-Day analysis, and Vulnerability Management.

• Technical knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies, including Active Directory, IDM solutions, SSO solutions, authentication protocols, and Privileged Access Management.

• Experience with DAST and Deception technologies.

• Good knowledge of web security and application security.

• Background working with security integration companies.

Education & Certifications

• BA / BS / Engineering degree and/or relevant Security Certifications.

Languages

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Additional Information

• Full-time position.

• Onsite role in Jerusalem.

• Reporting to the CISO.
