The role includes managing and leading an application portfolio of approximately 10 systems and technology projects, including direct management of Development Managers, Project Managers, and Systems Analysts

Responsibilities

Manage and lead an application portfolio of approximately 10 systems and technology projects

Directly manage Development Managers, Project Managers, and Systems Analysts

Plan and monitor work plans

Manage resources and budgets

Prioritize tasks

Manage vendors and contractual engagements

Lead interfaces with business units and technology stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

6 years of experience managing complex IT and technology projects

Experience managing and leading large and complex projects and systems

Experience managing managers and teams, including task management, prioritization, resource allocation, professional development, and feedback

Experience planning and managing work plans, including monitoring projects, schedules, scope, resources, risks, and blockers

Experience managing resources and budgets, including planning and control

Broad and systemic perspective with the ability to manage processes and identify dependencies and interfaces between systems

Experience managing interfaces with business units, stakeholders, and technology teams, including expectation management, prioritization of needs, and status reporting

Experience working in a technology environment that includes development, service, quality assurance, user experience, and procurement

Experience managing vendors and service providers, including guiding development vendors

Experience working in large organizations or government organizations
