IP Core Network Engineer | Leading Telecom Organization | Sharon Area

A leading telecom organization in the Sharon Area is looking for an experienced IP Core Network Engineer to join its core networking team and work on large scale, mission critical communication infrastructure in Israel and abroad.

The role combines hands on network operations, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and deployment of advanced IP/MPLS and Network Security solutions.

What You'll Do

• Manage and operate the company's Internet Core network infrastructure in Israel and abroad

• Manage advanced networking and Network Security technologies

• Design, implement, and launch IP/MPLS projects and services

• Troubleshoot complex network and system level incidents

• Maintain and support Core network infrastructure

• Design and support networking solutions for strategic customers

• Collaborate with vendors and multiple technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional Data Networking experience in large scale networks, required

• Hands on experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet, required

• Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and protocols, including DNS, PPPoE, L2TP, MP-BGP, and ISIS-SR

• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex networking environments

• Ability to collaborate with vendors and multiple technical stakeholders

• Valid driver's license and availability for on call duties, including weekends, required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working for a telecom provider with strong ISP/MPLS knowledge, significant advantage

• Network Automation experience with Python, Ansible, and/or DevNet, significant advantage

• CCIE or JNCIE certification
