The Role

Are you a versatile IT professional who thrives on managing server environments, securing networks, and maintaining high-availability internal infrastructure?

We are looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Specialist to take full operational ownership of CYBERcom’s internal IT operations. In this role, you will maintain our core systems, secure our hybrid workforce, optimize end-user computing, and ensure our internal technical foundation runs seamlessly and securely.

Note: This is an internal-facing role dedicated to CYBERcom's corporate infrastructure and employee support—not a customer-facing client delivery role.

The Mission

You will serve as the primary owner of CYBERcom’s internal IT landscape. You will oversee servers, virtualization, local and remote networking, endpoint management, systems hardening, and end-user support (Helpdesk). Working directly with our security baseline, you will also help implement advanced enterprise security tools, manage cloud productivity suites, and continuously optimize our internal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Systems & Virtualization: Manage, maintain, and optimize core internal servers, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure services.

• Networking & Secure Connectivity: Configure and maintain enterprise networking hardware (routing/switching), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE/SSE) solutions, and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).

• Endpoint Management & User Support: Provide Tier 1/2 Helpdesk support for internal employees, handle end-user troubleshooting, build standardized OS images, and execute endpoint hardening across corporate workstations.

• Workplace Security & Modern Defense: Maintain Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) platforms, support Secure Enterprise Browsing environments, and prepare for incoming Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution implementations.

• Patching & Systems Baseline: Manage central patch management and vulnerability mitigation tools, consistently tuning firewall policies and aligning infrastructure standards.

• Cloud & Productivity Services: Administer cloud productivity suites (SaaS), managing identities, licenses, directory services, and access controls for all internal users.

• Solutions Deployment: Hands-on installation, configuration, baseline alignment, and ongoing optimization of new internal IT and security systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in an IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or SysAdmin role executing core IT and internal operations.

• Network & Security: Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking (L2/L3) and Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW).

• Secure Access & Endpoints: Familiarity with modern Endpoint Protection/EDR, zero-trust network access (ZTNA/SASE), and endpoint hardening protocols.

• Patch & Systems Management: Experience using centralized Patch Management, automated deployment software, and custom OS image creation.

• Cloud Productivity: Practical administration experience with cloud-based productivity tools and directory environments (Identity & Access Management).

• Virtualization & Server Infrastructure: Solid background administering Windows/Linux server environments and virtualized infrastructure.

• Troubleshooting: Excellent technical problem-solving skills with a strong, service-oriented approach to supporting internal staff.

• Self-Motivated: Strong self-learning capabilities with a proactive mindset toward maintaining uptime, system health, and security posture.
