IT & System Engineer

We are looking for an IT professional with a strong service mindset and broad technical knowledge to join our team in a role that combines day-to-day user support with hands-on responsibility across System, IT infrastructure and Information Security.

This role is ideal for an experienced Help Desk professional who is ready to go beyond user support, take ownership of organizational systems and develop professionally in the areas of System and Security.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees across hardware, software, endpoint devices and organizational systems.

Troubleshoot Windows, Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and end-user environment issues.

Install, configure and maintain computers, workstations and peripheral equipment.

Manage users, permissions and groups.

Troubleshoot basic network issues involving LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP and VPN.

Work with Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure environments.

Work with Linux environments.

Work with information security solutions including Endpoint Protection, EDR, MFA, Conditional Access and email security.

Handle information security incidents at the user and endpoint level.

Manage and harden endpoints in accordance with organizational security policies.

Coordinate with IT, network and information security vendors.

Document technical issues, solutions and operational procedures.

Participate in IT, infrastructure and information security projects across the organization.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365.

Knowledge and experience with Windows and Windows Server environments.

Basic to good networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN and Wi-Fi.

Familiarity with information security concepts and Endpoint Protection or EDR solutions.

Familiarity with MFA, permissions, access policies and user security.

Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills when working with users.
