Junior Field Deployment Engineer (FDE)

Job Description

About the Role As a Junior Field Deployment Engineer (FDE) within the Customer Solutions Architecture (CSA) team, you will help customers maximize the value of Bob by delivering practical technical solutions tailored to their needs. You will take part in customer integration and deployment projects and collaborate with Field Deployment Engineers, Customer Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering. This role is ideal for someone with a background in technical implementation, integrations, or SaaS deployment who wants to deepen their technical capabilities and grow in solution design and architecture. You do not need to be a traditional software engineer, but you should be technically curious, customer-oriented, and motivated to turn ideas into working solutions.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in system integrations, technical implementation, SaaS deployment, solution consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Practical knowledge of SaaS integration technologies, including APIs, webhooks, middleware, or automation tools.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and vibe coding tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working directly with customers in implementation or deployment projects.

• Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deliver integrations that connect Bob with customers’ systems using APIs, webhooks, MCP, custom objects, and extensibility capabilities.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and define practical implementation approaches.

• Assess Bob’s capabilities and determine how they can be configured, combined, or extended for different use cases.

• Build automations, prototypes, and lightweight applications using AI-assisted development and vibe coding practices.

• Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure solutions are effective, scalable, and aligned with Bob’s platform.

• Create clear documentation covering integration flows, technical decisions, implementation guidance, and handover materials.
