Junior Software Engineer - Stealth Mode Startup (Downtown Haifa)

About us:

We're building a new kind of OS - the first one built not with AI, but for it. A software layer that lets AI see, move, and act: the Android of the physical world. We're small, stealth, and early enough that the foundations are still being poured. That's where you come in.

The role:

You'll be writing the core software that makes these devices tick - deep in the stack, across Linux, Android, and embedded platforms, where performance is measured in milliseconds and every design choice matters. You won't be handed tickets to close. You'll own real components end to end, from the whiteboard to production, alongside senior engineers who've shipped at Rafael, Intel, and Snap. What you build in the next year becomes the ground everyone else stands on.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on software development.

• Strong proficiency in C++ or C.

• Experience developing for Linux and/or Android.

• Solid grasp of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.

• Sharp debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Quick to pick up new technologies and comfortable in a fast-moving startup.

• Fluency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Clear communicator who works well on a team.

Nice to have:

• Embedded systems or low-level development.

• Android internals, Linux kernel, or ARM architectures.

• Computer vision, graphics, or AI.

• Performance optimization and multithreaded systems.

Minimum qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.

Location:

• Office right next to Haifa Hashmona train station.

• Hybrid - a mix of onsite and remote.
