תיאור המשרה המלא
המשרה המקורית · נשמר לעיוןWiliot was founded by the team that invented one of the technologies at the heart of 5G. Their next vision was to develop an IoT sticker, a self-powered computing element that harvests radio frequency energy, bringing connectivity and intelligence to everyday products and packaging. This revolutionary combination of cloud and semiconductor technology is already being used by some of the world’s largest consumer, retail, food, and pharmaceutical companies to transform how products are made, distributed, sold, used, and recycled. Our investors include SoftBank, Amazon, Alibaba, Verizon, NTT DoCoMo, Qualcomm, and PepsiCo. As a Systems Engineer on Wiliot's Tag Test team, you will develop the software and test systems that determine our tags performance. You will work on a real bench — gateways, SMUs, attenuators, relay and debug boards — writing the Python that drives them, running tests against real product, and analyzing the results to find out what failed and why. This role suits someone who is curious about both sides of the hardware/software boundary, wants to learn by taking things apart, and is not satisfied with a result until they understand why it is correct. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Python tools and test applications used in our lab and on our production lines, with an emphasis on code that others can read, run, and extend. • Bring up and operate test setups: connect and automate lab equipment, configure gateways and debug boards, and verify the setup measures what you think it measures. • Execute test and calibration procedures on real hardware, and own a well-scoped part of a larger test system end to end — from the bench to the reported number. • Analyze test data to produce yield, correlation and pass/fail results, and cross-check your own numbers against a second source before reporting them. • Investigate failures across the hardware/software boundary — reproduce the issue, narrow down where it lives, and either fix it or hand it over with clear evidence. • Work closely with test, firmware, hardware and production engineers to define what a test needs to prove and deliver it.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 0–2 years of experience, or strong hands-on project/internship experience in software with a hardware component. • Solid Python programming skills — functions, classes, modules, and basic testing; exposure to C is an advantage. • Comfortable around electronics and embedded systems • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (power supply, scope, SMU, signal generator) and interest in automating it from Python. • Comfortable working with data and able to build a plot that answers a specific question. • Strong analytical and debugging instincts • Be Able to work independently on a defined task. • RF or wireless exposure (BLE, LoRa, sub-GHz), and familiarity with Git, are advantages. #LI-Hybrid
