Latent Academia

Latent Academia is Latent's training arm - we teach AI the way we build it. Hands-on workshops for R&D and business teams at some of the strongest tech companies in Israel and the US, pulled entirely from work we've actually shipped.

The Role

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Onsite at client offices in Israel; prep and content work remote.

Reports to: Head of Academia

AI is changing how software gets built, and most teams are still catching up. That's the gap we fill, and demand is growing fast enough that we're expanding the training team.

As Lead Trainer you'll show teams what AI actually makes possible in their work, then get them genuinely good at building it. Some teams are in early stages, still working out where AI fits, while others are past that and asking harder questions: how do we orchestrate agents against a real codebase, how does the SDLC have to change, how does a business unit design its own AI-driven workflows instead of waiting for someone to hand them one.

Most sessions are aimed at R&D teams, and some are for business oriented teams (Marketing/ Sales/ HR, etc.). This requires us to be comfortable changing gears and terminology, while keeping the content and quality high.

You'll own the programs you run - tailoring material to each client, building new material as the demand grows. You will have to understand the client’s needs, develop the content we deliver, and deliver the sessions. You will collaborate daily with the Head of the Academia arm, and be in charge of all the content side, end-to-end.

What You'll Do

• Run hands-on workshops and lectures, onsite and remote - AI coding agents, agent orchestration, AI-driven workflow design, RAG, SDLC, harness, knowledge bases and more.

• Teach from experience, not theory. Take on the hard questions, demo live, and show what actually works, and what doesn't.

• Tailor every agenda, lab, and exercise to the client's stack, level, and goals. Run alignment calls with the clients’ team leads. No two audiences are the same.

• Write new syllabuses, labs, and exercises from scratch, and keep the existing ones current.

• Close the loop after each session: read survey results, debrief, fix the material, and improve for the next session.

• As the team grows, bring new trainers up to speed and be the technical person they lean on.

Who You Are

• 10+ years in software development, with a proven teaching and public speaking track record.

• Comfortable in delivering talks, workshops, and courses.

• Passion for Gen AI and real use of current and new agents - Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and the rest.

• You are able to communicate complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.

• Public speaking fluency in Hebrew and English (spoken & written).

• Comfortable across the AI dev stack: LLM APIs, SDLC, evals, loops and agent design.

• Strong instincts for instructional design and visual presentation that need to look as professional as they are effective.

• Commands a room - confident enough to shift depth or direction on short notice without losing anyone's attention.

Nice to have

• You've taught senior or enterprise engineering teams before.

• A public trail of your teaching: talks, courses, writing, open source.

Logistics

• Delivery is primarily onsite at client offices in Israel. Prep and content work are remote.

• Reports to the Head of Academia.
