Service Engineer

Magnus-Metal Ltd. is a start-up company developing a new casting process for manufacturing large metal components.

The process produces cast metal components based on the customer’s CAD file.

Our development machine has successfully demonstrated the technology and process, and we are currently recruiting outstanding professionals to join our multidisciplinary R&D team as we work toward industrializing the solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service Engineer defines, leads, coordinates, and performs all service and maintenance tasks on all in-house systems including optimization and documentation.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Multidisciplinary system support experience

· Service oriented and experience in methodical troubleshooting

· Quick & creative problem solving

• Improve service time and maintain system uptime to the maximum possible.

• Be responsive on-site and remotely to support systems up-time and repair on a timely manner.

• Coordination/ execution of all systems PMs

• Data analysis, reporting and recommendation for service improvements

• Help with documentation and build service procedures

• Training other team members and customers.

• Good communication skills in inter-cultural environment and teamwork ability.

• Ability to work in a methodic and orderly manner.

• Good learning ability and presentation skills, including written and verbal analysis of complex technical problems in English

• Capability to work under technical and schedule constraints

Note: As of today, the scope of overseas travel is estimated at 30% to 50% +/-, with trips lasting between one to three weeks at a time. This section is an estimate only and actual travel will be in accordance with the company's operational needs.
