Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer

COMBLACK is hiring a Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer!

We are looking for an experienced technology professional who is interested in taking on a challenging role combining Mainframe infrastructure, automation, and DevOps.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience working with Mainframe environments

• Experience with CICS and/or MQ

• Experience with z/OS – an advantage

• Experience developing automation and DevOps tools

• Experience in automating and streamlining operational processes

• Experience with installation, upgrades, and configuration of infrastructure products

• Experience building automated testing mechanisms and deployment processes between environments

• Experience with Configuration Management

• Experience with Control-M – an advantage

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability and willingness to learn independently and continuously research new technologies

• Curiosity, technical passion, and the ability to tackle complex challenges
