Maintenance Manager

About the Company

Overall responsibility for the maintenance area in an industrial plant, while ensuring the availability and health of machines and equipment, handling faults and constantly improving the maintenance system.

About the Role

Main areas of responsibility:

• Management and leadership of the maintenance team, including the distribution of tasks, prioritization and control.

• Responsibility for the health and availability of production machines and equipment in the plant.

• Management and handling of mechanical and electrical faults and providing an ongoing response to the production floor.

• Building and managing preventive maintenance and planned maintenance programs.

• Ongoing work with the production, engineering and safety departments.

• Analysis of recurring faults and leading actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• Work with external suppliers and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer or qualified electrician - mandatory.

• 3–5 years of experience managing a maintenance team in an industrial environment.

• Experience in maintaining machinery and production equipment and troubleshooting.

• Ability to manage, prioritize tasks, and work in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in the plastics industry and familiarity with extrusion processes and machines is a significant advantage.
