Malware Research

We’re looking for an Malware Researcher to join a cybersecurity team focused on analyzing and reviewing malicious applications.

In this role, you’ll receive training in malware analysis and detection, investigate a wide range of malware threats and techniques, and combine technical and intelligence findings to reach accurate verdicts. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the detection and removal of malicious applications at scale.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, works well under pressure, and takes a proactive approach to identifying emerging malware trends.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or software development

Hands-on cybersecurity experience in areas such as malware analysis, reverse engineering, SOC investigations, mobile/APK analysis, or penetration testing

Strong understanding of Java and Object-Oriented Programming

Ability to trace execution flow through code analysis

Solid understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and programming fundamentals

Nice to Have:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field

Experience with JavaScript, C/C++ or additional programming languages

Experience with IDA Pro or Ghidra

Experience with JADX or JEB

Familiarity with Frida or Xposed

Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Fiddler or HTTP Toolkit

Knowledge of common malware threats and techniques
