Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Designer Location: Rosh HaAyin, Israel (On-site)

Position Type: Full-time About the Role We are a leading global manufacturer of industrial digital printers, and we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our R&D team in Rosh HaAyin. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, testing, and delivering next-generation printing systems. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) • Design & Innovation: Develop and design new mechanical systems and sub-assemblies tailored to business and product requirements.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on existing systems and propose robust, long-term solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with software, electrical, system integration, and chemical engineering teams to deliver unified designs.

• Hands-on Testing: Plan, build, and execute physical experiments to validate your designs and suggested engineering solutions.

• Lifecycle Management: Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from inception through to successful implementation on the manufacturing line. Requirements (Must-Have) • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of overall mechanical engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to hands-on mechanical design.

• CAD Expertise: Proficient in 3D CAD design and engineering drawings (SolidWorks or equivalent).

• Language: Strong professional communication skills in English and Hebrew. Advantages (Nice-to-Have) • Experience with precision motion control systems.

• Solid background in structural and thermal FEA (Finite Element Analysis).

• Direct experience with media handling (web or sheet-fed feeding and transport systems).
