Mechanical Design Engineer

Eshed Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering department of a leading defense company. In this position, you will take a key role in the core development, mechanical design, and production integration of structural elements and dynamic systems for cutting-edge aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Design: Detailed design of mechanical systems, structural parts, assemblies, airborne structures, and complex mechanisms.

• Manufacturing Processes: Define raw material processing technologies and manufacturing methods for all designed components.

• Structural Analysis: Perform initial strength calculations and basic structural analyses using advanced CAD/CAE tools.

• Task Ownership: Take full engineering responsibility and independently drive design tasks from concept to execution.

Job Requirements (Must-Haves / Threshold Criteria):

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design of dynamic systems, assemblies, and manufacturing processes – Mandatory.

• Experience or familiarity with composite materials and their manufacturing processes – Advantage.

• Hands-on experience working with Siemens NX CAD software within a Teamcenter (TC) environment – Advantage.

• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis software (such as Nastran or Ansys) – Advantage.
