Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Aviation Division’s Engineering & Development Center.

The role includes:

• Development of complex mechanical systems for the aerospace industry.

• Defining system requirements and developing system architecture.

• Defining and developing mechanical components, assemblies and mechanisms.

• Performing analytical calculations for system performance, strength, flow, thermal conditions and environmental loads.

• Planning and supporting development tests, including ground and flight testing.

• Working closely with mechanical designers, systems engineers, structural engineers and additional engineering disciplines.

• Supporting the development process from initial concept through system integration and validation.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering – mandatory.

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical systems development or mechanical mechanism engineering – mandatory.

• Experience in the design of aerospace assemblies and systems – an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of CATIA and UG – an advantage.

• Experience developing analytical models and dynamic simulations in solid mechanics and fluid dynamics – an advantage.
