Role Description-
• Serving as a Senior MEMS & Micro-Actuation Development Engineer, leading the design, innovation, and implementation of advanced micro-actuation solutions for a proprietary photonic quantum computing platform.
• Leading end-to-end device engineering lifecycles—spanning device architecture, analytical modeling, multi-physics simulations, microfabrication, and experimental validation.
• Designing and characterizing custom MEMS actuators, exploring electrostatic, piezoelectric, thermal, and hybrid actuation mechanisms.
• Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations and empirical bench testing to optimize performance, operational stability, and physical robustness.
• Driving MEMS technologies from early concept and prototyping phases through packaging, qualification, and system-level electro-optical integration.
• Collaborating cross-functionally within a world-class multidisciplinary engineering environment alongside quantum physicists, optical engineers, hardware, and firmware teams.
Requirements-
• Extensive hands-on industry experience in MEMS Design, Development, and Implementation (5+ years) – Mandatory
• Deep, proven expertise in designing MEMS Actuators (Electrostatic, Piezoelectric, Thermal, or Hybrid mechanisms) – Mandatory

• Academic degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or equivalent – Significant Advantage
