Position Overview-

• Senior Backend Engineer joining an elite core product engineering group, driving the scalability and feature velocity of a high-throughput enterprise SaaS platform.

• Transitioning into a modern, low-latency microservices stack primarily utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS, while leveraging deep object-oriented engineering foundations.

• Architecting and optimizing distributed cloud systems, real-time event streaming pipelines (Kafka), and high-scale data layers spanning relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).

• Handling extreme system concurrency, designing complex API structures, and deploying containerized services over Kubernetes clusters inside global production environments.

• Owning features from advanced software design and telemetry architectural planning through to global scale production delivery.

• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Cloud & Data Security Architecture, High-Scale Enterprise SaaS, Distributed Microservices, Object-Oriented Design, C# to Node.js/TypeScript Transition, Real-Time Event Streaming (Kafka), Data Warehousing (Snowflake, Postgres), Containerization (Kubernetes).

Requirements-

• Academic/Military Background: B.Sc. or higher in a quantitative/scientific discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering) from a leading research university, OR a graduate of elite military technological intelligence units (e.g., 8200, Matzpen, Mamram) – Mandatory

• 5+ years of robust professional experience dedicated to backend software engineering inside high-quality product startups, global tech firms, or elite military R&D environments – Mandatory

• Deep architectural mastery and production-grade programming proficiency in C# (.NET Core) – Mandatory

• Strong technical readiness, adaptability, and passion to transition into an advanced Node.js / TypeScript / NestJS cloud ecosystem – Mandatory

• Solid foundational understanding of distributed systems design, asynchronous workflows, and modern cloud-native architectures – Mandatory

• Practical experience or strong technical familiarity with complex data layers, streaming tools, or containerized environments (e.g., Kafka, SQL, Kubernetes) – Strong Advantage

• A product-oriented engineer with an analytical mindset, high code-standards, and a passion for building mission-critical systems used worldwide – Mandatory
