Network Engineer

Role Description-

• Serving as an Information Security & Network Risk Specialist, driving technical risk assessments, network reviews, and security advisory for large-scale enterprise environments.

• Embedding within a long-term, strategic project at a leading financial and credit card institution, acting as a trusted security advisor.

• Analyzing enterprise network architectures, routing pathways, and network communication protocols to identify architectural risks and policy gaps.

• Reviewing, auditing, and optimizing Firewall (FW) rulebases, ensuring proper segmentation, access controls, and adherence to security baselines.

• Evaluating and auditing organizational security controls, security tooling, and defensive configurations against corporate governance frameworks.

• Conducting comprehensive information security risk surveys, technical audits, and vulnerability posture assessments.

• Collaborating autonomously and directly with cross-functional technical stakeholders, including Network Engineers, IT Infrastructure teams, and System Administrators.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of proven experience in enterprise Networking and Network Protocols within large, complex IT environments – Mandatory

• Professional background from large enterprise organizations (experience from the financial/banking sector – strong advantage) – Mandatory

• Strong practical familiarity with Firewall (FW) systems and hands-on ability to analyze, audit, and evaluate firewall rules – Mandatory

• Solid technical familiarity with enterprise Information Security tools, solutions, and concepts – Mandatory

• Demonstrated hands-on experience performing Information Security Audits or Risk Surveys ) – Mandatory

• Proven capability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical counterparts and IT teams – Mandatory

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISA, or related network/security credentials) – Advantage
