Network & Information Security Engineer-5608

A defense company is seeking a Network & Information Security Engineer.

Role Responsibilities:

The position includes implementation and ongoing maintenance of cross-organizational projects in the fields of networking and information security, full responsibility for systems including monitoring, control, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network and cybersecurity products, continuous upgrades and joint operation of all existing security and communication systems, enforcement of information security policies, granting approvals and access permissions for employees in daily operations, with a work split of approximately 70% networking and 30% information security. The role is office-based and includes field work, with the possibility of overseas travel.

What We’re Looking For:

Relevant certifications in information security (CISSP, CISM, CISO) and networking courses (CCNA, CCNP), with Fortinet certification being a significant advantage. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in networking and information security systems within Enterprise or mid-size organizations is mandatory. Proven experience of at least 2 years in deploying and maintaining security products such as Check Point and Fortinet is required. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity domains including IPS, SSL, NAC, NMS, and VPN setup is mandatory, as well as solid experience in planning and implementing L2 & L3 network architectures.
