Communication & Information Security Specialist | Bynet

Bynet is looking for a Communication & Information Security Specialist to join our Managed Services (MSP) division.

In this role, you’ll work in diverse technological environments, supporting enterprise customers’ communication and information security systems, while gaining exposure to leading technologies and vendors in the industry.

What will your day look like?

Operating and managing communication and information security systems in customer environments.

Troubleshooting and providing professional technical support across diverse environments.

Performing upgrades, changes, and configurations of communication and information security systems.

Hands-on work with Fortinet and additional information security solutions.

Exploring and evaluating new technologies and products with leading vendors.

Participating in on-call rotations.

What are we looking for?

At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting communication and information security systems in a Windows environment.

Knowledge of data communications – Switching & Routing, including VLANs and Static Routing.

At least 1 year of experience working with information security products, with an emphasis on Fortinet & FortiGate Firewalls.

Strong self-learning skills and a desire to grow professionally.

Experience working with customers or in technical support – an advantage.

Experience with Fortinet Access Points – an advantage.

Familiarity with CrowdStrike, Check Point Harmony, and Cisco – an advantage.

Experience with Check Point Firewalls – an advantage.

CCNA certification – an advantage.

Experience with switches from leading vendors, including Juniper, Aruba, HP, Cisco, and Meraki.
