Network Security Engineer

The company is located in the Central region near major transit hubs and operates on a flexible hybrid work model with two days working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as the Lead Network & Security Solutions Engineer, acting as the first dedicated expert in this domain across the organization and reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.

• Designing, implementing, and securing end-to-end network communication architectures and low-level communication protocols interfacing with enterprise quantum computing stacks.

• Leading hands-on system troubleshooting, secure communications integration, and network configuration across distributed enterprise environments.

• Working closely with Tier-1 enterprise customers and global strategic partners to deploy, integrate, and support secure software connectivity.

• Bridging low-level network protocol implementation with high-level enterprise security compliance and encryption standards.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with Core R&D, Platform Engineering, and Product leadership to establish foundational security and networking practices.

Requirements-

• 3 years hands-on experience as a Network Security Engineer / Network Engineer within complex enterprise environments – Mandatory

• Deep, practical subject-matter expertise in Network Protocols and Information / Network Security – Mandatory

• Proven hands-on experience in configuring, upgrading, and managing secure protocols: TLS, IPsec, or IKE (at least one) – Mandatory

• Strong hands-on Troubleshooting, Root-Cause Analysis, and Systems Engineering capabilities across complex enterprise infrastructures – Mandatory

• Proven experience in Customer-Facing / Technical Client Engagement roles with enterprise-level counterparts – Mandatory

• Fluent, high-level written and verbal communication skills in English – Mandatory

• Practical knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and firewall architectures – Significant Advantage

• Experience with scripting and network automation (e.g., Python, Bash) or Linux networking internals – Advantage
