Network Security Engineer

About the Role

Our Technology Division's Cyber Defense & Technology unit is looking for a Communications & Information Security Team Member. The role includes ongoing operation, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure at our data center sites and offices, including distributed communication rooms in branches, as well as implementing network-level security controls.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing operation, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise network infrastructure at data center sites and company offices, including branch communication rooms

• Manage and maintain the Cisco ACI environment - Fabric management, Leaf/Spine switches, and APIC-level troubleshooting

• Deploy, modify, and maintain network equipment: Nexus, Catalyst, routers, DMZ switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure

• Handle complex end-to-end network issues and work with vendors and suppliers

• Implement and maintain network-level security controls: Firewall rules, segmentation, NAC/ISE

• Respond to service tickets and user requests via SysAid per SLA

• Participate in infrastructure projects: EOL equipment replacements, core/Spine switch upgrades, DC and DMZ projects

• Document configurations, diagrams, and work procedures

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a network engineer in a large Enterprise organization

• Full proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, vPC/LACP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, QoS, and Multicast

• Practical knowledge and experience with Cisco ACI - understanding of Fabric architecture, policy management, and troubleshooting

• Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst at the CLI level

• Understanding of network security domains: Firewalls, segmentation, NAT, VPN, and Proxy

• Verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English

• Availability for non-standard hours and change windows outside business hours

Nice to Have

• CCNA / CCNP certification or relevant information security certifications

• Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ISE

• Familiarity with monitoring tools - SolarWinds, PRTG
