Network Security Engineer

Matrix is hiring a Network Security Engineer for a leading healthcare organization.

The role includes planning, implementing, maintaining, installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise communication and network security infrastructures. The position involves working with Cisco technologies, wired and wireless networks, advanced network management and monitoring solutions, and secure network access technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructures.

• Work with Cisco networking and security technologies across wired and wireless environments.

• Manage network security, including secure access, segmentation, access control, and device hardening.

• Perform installations, upgrades, documentation, and collaborate with infrastructure and security teams.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise communication networks.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and network equipment.

• Strong practical knowledge of VLAN, STP, TCP/IP, routing, and network troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networks.

• Experience working with enterprise network management and/or monitoring systems.

• Understanding of network security principles, segmentation, access control, and network device hardening.

• Experience in planning, installing, maintaining, and documenting network infrastructures.

• Knowledge of passive communication infrastructure.

• CCNP certification.
