Role Description The Network Specialist – Fortinet is a full-time, on-site role based in Ashdod. In this position, the specialist will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures with a focus on Fortinet technologies, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient connectivity across the organization and customer environments. Daily responsibilities include configuring firewalls and related security appliances, monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and documenting configurations and procedures. The role involves collaborating with IT, security, and project teams to support deployments, upgrades, and integrations, as well as providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients. The specialist will also stay current with Fortinet best practices and emerging network security trends to continuously improve network resilience.

Qualifications

• Strong networking foundation, including Networking and Network Administration skills.

• Proficiency in Network Design with hands-on experience architecting secure, scalable network solutions.

• Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting complex network issues and performing root-cause analysis.

• Solid understanding of Network Security, including configuration and management of Fortinet firewalls and related security products.

• Experience working in on-site environments and supporting production networks for enterprise or mid-size organizations.

• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE (e.g., NSE4 or above), CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent practical experience.

• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols, VPN technologies, and firewall policies.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.
