New Product Introduction Engineer

Frisimos Technologies is looking for an NPI Engineer to join our growing Engineering department.

You will be the key person to support all the NPI processes from development to serial production.

The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication and analytical skills, with experience in manufacturing and quality processes and supply chain activities.

Job description:

• Works in a multidisciplinary operational environment and coordinates between R&D and production departments to develop and implement requirements.

• Joins design reviews throughout the different development stages.

• Manages ECO and QA processes and ensures compliance with work instructions and procedures.

• Prepares assembly drawings along with instructions and guidelines using SolidWorks, and creation of jigs and kits for production.

• Manages BOMs, configuration management and inventory levels.

• Support to procurement team with issuance of purchase orders, communicating and negotiating with vendors and suppliers.

• Supports warehouse activities and inventory managing, receiving components and documentation.

• Helps to improve efficiency, reliability, serviceability, maneuverability, and cost.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as an NPI engineer

• Excellent inter-personal communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and technological production capabilities

• Modeling and drawing experience with SolidWorks, including use of PDM.

• Experience with Priority.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Fluent English.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
