Ofek-Metal-Machining is known for its extensive experience in producing complex, high-accuracy parts for demanding applications and environments. Role Description The Purchasing Manager (מנהל/ת רכש) is a full-time, on-site role based in Rosh HaAyin. This role oversees end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders for materials, components, and services required for CNC machining and high-precision production. The Purchasing Manager manages vendor relationships, monitors supplier performance, and ensures on-time delivery to support production schedules and customer commitments. Daily responsibilities include tracking inventory levels, optimizing stock, coordinating closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, and resolving supply chain issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in aerospace, defense, machining, or industrial manufacturing environments.

• Strong skills in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, price and contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management.

• Ability to work with technical drawings, bills of materials, and production requirements, with familiarity in CNC machining or mechanical components considered an advantage.

• Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management.

• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems, and good command of standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email tools).

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams.

• Fluency in Hebrew; good English reading and writing skills for working with international suppliers and technical materials.

• Relevant education in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to work on-site in Rosh HaAyin and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
