Opto-Mechanical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Opto-Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical domain across our Depth Camera & Face Authentication biometric products.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design from concept to validation and production

• Design precision opto-mechanical assemblies, enclosures and mechanisms

• Drive industrial design, manufacturability and thermal management

• Perform structural, thermal and opto-mechanical simulations

• Design optical testers and automated test equipment (ATE)

• Work hands-on with prototypes, lab hardware, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Optics or Opto-Mechanics

• 5+ years of mechanical/opto-mechanical design experience

• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up

• Experience with FEA and/or thermal simulations

• Experience with optical alignment, camera modules or precision equipment

• Fluent English and strong communication skills
