Role Description This is an independent contractor opportunity on the Kelaviv platform — not an employee position. Pet Sitters are self-employed (registered as osek patur) and choose which bookings to accept, set their own rates, and build their own client base through Kelaviv. Sitters provide care such as feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, and monitoring pets' overall well-being, and may offer services like in-home pet sitting, overnight stays, or house sitting duties such as bringing in mail, watering plants, and keeping the home tidy. Sitters communicate directly with pet owners through messages, photos, and updates on the Kelaviv platform, following each pet's specific care instructions and safety protocols, and manage their own bookings, schedule, and service details through the online system — on their own time, at their own pace.
* Strong skills in Animal Care and Pet Care, with the ability to follow specific feeding, exercise, and health routines.
* Hands-on experience in Pet Sitting, including dog walking, playtime, and overnight or extended stays when needed.
* Effective Communication skills to provide clear updates, respond promptly to messages, and build trust with pet owners.
* House Sitting capabilities, including respecting household rules, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring home security while owners are away.
* Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and attention to safety when handling pets in various environments.
* Comfort using mobile and web-based platforms for scheduling, messaging, and managing bookings.
* Prior experience working with animals (e.g., shelter work, veterinary clinic, or professional pet care) is an advantage.
* Self-motivated and comfortable setting your own schedule as an independent contractor — choose your own availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as it suits you.
* Eligible (or willing) to register as an osek patur in Israel.
