Employing around 160 professionals, the organization combines deep multidisciplinary R&D spanning optics, physics, electronics, and mechanical engineering with full in-house testing and manufacturing capabilities.
The facility is located in the Northern Sharon region.
Role Description-
• Serving as an Electro-Optics Physicist / Systems Engineer, joining the core EO engineering group to drive the architectural definition, selection, and technical characterization of critical optical and electro-optical components.
• Taking technical ownership over specialized modules across product lines: lasers, thermal imaging cores (thermal engines), day/night optics, micro-displays, and Laser Rangefinders (LRF).
• Defining component-level and system-level electro-optical specifications and leading laboratory characterization, electro-optical testing, and field trials.
• Managing end-to-end technical engagements with global vendors and specialized optical component manufacturers, from requirements definition through sample qualification.
• Providing technical and engineering leadership within a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with mechanical designers, systems engineers, and production teams.
Requirements-
• B.Sc. in Electro-Optics Engineering, Physics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in electro-optical components or multidisciplinary EO systems – Mandatory
• Deep technical expertise in one or more core domains: Lasers / LRF, Day/Night Optical Channels, Micro-Displays, or Thermal Cores/Detectors – Mandatory
• Proven track record in technical vendor management and qualification with international suppliers – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on laboratory experience with electro-optical test equipment, component characterization, and validation setups – Mandatory
• High technical leadership abilities, structured work methodologies, and capability to execute under demanding timelines – Mandatory
• Advanced degree (M.Sc.) in Electro-Optics or Applied Physics – Advantage
