Piping Design Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Piping Design Team Leader to join our Mechanical Engineering team and lead the piping design of large-scale water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and professionally manage a team of piping designers, including workload and task prioritization.

• Hands-on piping and equipment design using advanced 3D CAD tools.

• Lead the design process from 3D modeling through drawings, isometrics and manufacturing/installation documentation.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, Project Managers and international design teams.

• Serve as a technical focal point for piping design and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Practical Engineer.

• 5+ years of piping design experience – mandatory.

• Experience with 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, PDMS or similar.

• Team leadership / task management experience – significant advantage.

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems.

• Knowledge of ASME standards and piping materials.

• BIM and field piping experience – advantage.

• Very good English skills.
