Power BI Developer / Data and Business Analyst

Leading Telecom Company in Rosh HaAyin is looking for Power BI Developer / Data and Business Analyst for a full-time role.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, technology, and business - someone who can dive into complex data, understand the business story behind it, and transform it into dashboards, insights, and recommendations that support real decision-making.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on Power BI.

• Analyze operational, commercial, and financial data to identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and business opportunities.

• Write complex SQL queries and investigate data across Data Warehouse and operational systems.

• Work closely with other BI team professionals on data models, reporting infrastructure, and analytics solutions.

• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other business units to understand their needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions.

• Define and monitor KPIs and build reporting tools that support management decision-making.

• Turn complex datasets into clear, practical business insights and recommendations.

• Present analyses and findings to managers and senior stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting and analytics processes, including the use of AI tools and technologies.

What we are looking for:

Must have:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in BI, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, or a similar data-focused role.

• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including writing complex queries and working with large datasets.

• Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI. Power Query and DAX experience is a must!

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and the ability to connect data with business processes and business outcomes.

• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.

• Ability to independently investigate data, identify issues, and propose solutions rather than simply execute predefined reporting requests.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a complex, fast-moving environment.

Nice to have:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.

• Experience working in a large, data-intensive organization.

• Background in telecom, financial services, retail, or another environment with complex operational and customer data.

• Experience working with ERP, CRM, billing, or other enterprise systems.

• Interest or practical exposure to AI, automation, or ML-based analytics solutions.

Who will succeed in this role:

Someone who is equally comfortable writing a SQL query, building a dashboard, and sitting with a business stakeholder to understand what they actually need.

You don't just deliver reports - you ask questions, investigate the data, and help the business understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what should be done next.
