Practical Engineer\Integrator\Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile Field & Process Technician to build, operate, and maintain our proprietary hydrogen systems. You will work side-by-side with Process Engineer to transition technology from our lab to the real world. This role is split between our Jerusalem R&D center, testing sites and overseas customer sites, where you will be the primary hands-on expert for system assembly, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• System Assembly & Wiring: Build prototype units from the ground up. This includes mechanical assembly, pipe-fitting, and full electrical wiring of control cabinets and sensors based on technical drawings.

• On-Site Technical Transfer: Travel to international customer sites to lead the physical installation and setup of our machines. You will be responsible for ensuring the unit is “field-ready.”

• Calibration & Instrumentation: Perform precise calibration of flow meters, pressure transducers, and temperature sensors to ensure data accuracy during critical runs.

• Operational Problem Solving: Act as the first line of defense against mechanical failures. You will diagnose and fix issues in real-time, with a specific focus on clearing clogs and maintaining fluid flow in chemical reactors.

• Material Handling: Manage the insertion of raw materials into the units and oversee the handling of the chemical carrier throughout the process cycle.

• Field Support & Training: Provide “tech transfer” support by training customer operators on basic handling, safety protocols, and routine maintenance of the machines.

Requirements

• Technical Education: Practical Engineer (Handesai) in Chemical industry, Energy, Mechatronics or Electricity or related field

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a “field service” or “multidisciplinary technician” role. Experience in the chemical, water treatment, or energy sectors is an advantage.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics and P&IDs.

• Expertise in industrial wiring and control panel assembly.

• Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, and troubleshooting fluid systems (clogging, leaks, pressure drops).

• Travel: Must be willing and able to travel overseas for extended periods (weeks at a time) to support customer installations.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure and the ability to communicate technical instructions clearly to customers.

• Language: Technical English proficiency is required for working at international sites.
