Position Overview
QTREX is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Process Manager to drive the development of advanced manufacturing processes for next-generation electronic and quantum technologies.
The role combines process innovation, experimental development, equipment interaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration to create robust and scalable processes for advanced materials and manufacturing platforms.
Working closely with materials, physics, software, system engineering, and equipment development teams, the Process Development Lead will play a key role in transforming innovative concepts into repeatable and reliable technologies.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development, characterization, and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes in an R&D environment.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and drive data-based process improvements.
• Define process windows, identify critical process parameters, and improve process stability and yield.
• Develop a deep understanding of the interaction between materials, equipment, process parameters, and system performance.
• Work hands-on with development equipment, experimental platforms, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate closely with Materials, Physics, Software, System Engineering, and other R&D teams.
• Support technology maturation, manufacturing readiness, and technology transfer activities.
• Identify technical challenges, investigate root causes, and develop practical solutions.
Requirements
• M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in process development within multidisciplinary technology environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in experimental process development and process optimization.
• Experience with DOE, process characterization, yield improvement, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex technical data and translate findings into actionable process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
