About MANNA

MANNA – Recipes & Cooking is building a new home for food, recipes, and culinary creators.

The platform helps people turn food inspiration from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the web into recipes they can save, organize, and actually cook. Users can build personal recipe collections, discover new ideas, create menus, and use AI-powered tools designed around cooking and recipes.

MANNA is already live. Our longer-term vision is to build a social platform centered around food — connecting people, recipes, and culinary creators through what people actually want to cook, discover, and share.

We are now building the founding team that will help take the existing product into its next stage.

Role Description

We are looking for a Founding Product & UX/UI Lead to help shape and evolve MANNA’s product as it grows from a useful recipe platform into a broader consumer and social product.

This is a hands-on role combining product thinking, user experience, and interface design. You will work closely with the founder and technical team to understand user needs, identify product opportunities, define flows and features, and turn them into clear, polished experiences.

The role is not limited to managing a roadmap or writing requirements. We are looking for someone who can move between product strategy, user behavior, UX thinking, and actual design execution.

The exact scope and level of involvement can evolve based on the right person and mutual fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Help define product priorities and translate them into clear, actionable features

• Design and improve user flows across the mobile product

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs

• Improve onboarding, discovery, engagement, and retention experiences

• Use user feedback and product data to identify friction and opportunities

• Work closely with development to move features from concept to implementation

• Help shape the product as MANNA evolves toward a more social experience

• Maintain consistency across the product experience and design language

• Test ideas quickly and iterate based on real user behavior

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong hands-on experience in product design, UX/UI, or a hybrid product role

• Experience designing digital products, ideally mobile or consumer-facing

• Strong understanding of user flows, interaction design, and usability

• Ability to create polished interfaces in tools such as Figma

• Good product judgment and ability to prioritize what matters

• Ability to work with developers and turn ideas into implementable solutions

• Comfort using data, analytics, and user feedback to guide decisions

• Ability to work independently and take ownership in an early-stage environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Genuine interest in building a company and product over the long term

Experience with consumer apps, social products, creator platforms, food-tech, growth-oriented product design, or early-stage startups is an advantage, but not required.

Stage & Compensation

This is an early-stage founding-team opportunity.

There is currently no salary attached to the role. The position is equity-based, with meaningful equity and vesting structured according to the level of responsibility, commitment, and long-term involvement.
