Product Development – Licensing & Consumer Products

Pazu Games is expanding its licensing and consumer products activity, and we are looking for an experienced Product Development professional to help shape our physical product portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of creative, product and licensing, translating Pazu’s IP into relevant, compelling consumer products. You will identify trends, define product categories and collections, and work closely with licensees and partners to bring those ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Build and shape Pazu’s consumer product development strategy across licensing categories.

• Identify market, design and consumer trends and translate them into relevant product opportunities.

• Define product categories, collections and product lines that best fit Pazu’s brands and consumers.

• Work closely with licensees and external partners throughout the product development process.

• Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure products are aligned with Pazu’s brand identity, visual language and quality standards.

• Act as the creative and product bridge between Pazu’s internal teams and external licensing partners.

• Review product concepts, materials, packaging, and samples throughout the product development process.

• Help partners translate Pazu’s digital IP into strong, commercially relevant physical products.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Product Development within Licensing / Consumer Products.

• A background in design, product design, fashion, graphic design, or a related creative discipline is a strong advantage.

• Proven experience developing physical consumer products from concept through product line development.

• Proven experience working with major international brands and/or globally recognized licensed IPs.

• Experience developing product ranges across one or multiple consumer product categories.

• Experience managing relationships with manufacturers and factories, including pricing negotiations and product development processes.

• Strong understanding of how entertainment, gaming, or character-based IPs are translated into physical products.

• Strong awareness of consumer, retail, and design trends.

• Ability to think both creatively and commercially, understanding what is right for the brand while also considering product and market relevance.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear creative direction to external partners.

• Ability to work independently and help establish processes and ways of working.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
