We are looking for a Product Engineering Manager to join a defense company located in Yehud!

We are looking for a technical professional with an engineering background who wants to take their professional experience to the next level and move into a new and strategic role that combines management, engineering leadership, and product management. The role includes responsibility for several sub-systems and projects in parallel, working in a matrix environment with engineers and multiple interfaces, and leading tasks from the planning stage through delivery. This role is especially suitable for an engineer with a strong technical background who wants to develop toward a management and leadership role, while moving away from hands-on engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering sub-systems and projects.

• Work closely with System Engineers and lead them in a matrix environment.

• Manage and prioritize tasks within sprints.

• Track task execution and meet goals.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical products or systems, from development through production and delivery to customers.

• Review and monitor engineering requirements and documentation.

• Identify issues and drive solutions to make sure things get done.

• Work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects and sub-systems in parallel.

Requirements

• Relevant technical or engineering education – degree in Engineering / Computer Science.

• 2–3 years of engineering experience – Systems Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical engineering role.

• Strong technical and engineering understanding.

• Ability to lead, prioritize, and manage tasks in a multi-interface environment.

• Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

• Independence, initiative, responsibility, and a hands-on mindset.

• Motivation to move from an engineering role into a role that combines leadership and management.

• Proven experience in Technical Product Management – big advantage.
