Product Manager

Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) is a global leader in biomedical imaging with a comprehensive product portfolio for Karyotyping, H&E, IHC and FISH analysis; providing Pathology, Cytogenetics and Research laboratories advanced imaging and analysis tools.

Product Manager

Job Responsibilities:

·      Ownership of product lifecycle and performance

·      Identifying potential product opportunities through customer engagement, competitive analysis, and industry research.

·      Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Participate in Agile planning, backlog prioritization, sprint reviews, and release planning.

• · Understand laboratory workflows in cytogenetics, pathology, and digital diagnostics.

·      · Analyze competitive offerings and emerging technology trends, including AI and digital pathology.

·      · Support go-to-market planning

·      · Develop product messaging, launch materials, demonstrations, and training content.

·      · Assist in customer-facing presentations, conferences, and industry events.

·      Coordinate activities across Engineering, Clinical Applications, Operations, Marketing, Sales, QA, and Regulatory Affairs.

Job Duties:

·      Be a focal point for ASI’s current product line

·      Coordinate design decisions with R&D team

·      Provide product input and recommendations including feature, pricing, scheduling and companion product ideas to help differentiate ASI products and maintain competitive edge

·      Gather insights from the field in order to align the product development with customers’ needs

·      Assess and analyze market and competition by comparing ASI's products to competitors' products

·      Work closely with cross functional and global team members and maintain communication

·      Translate product specifications into benefits and cost-effective gains Pursue product line extensions, labeling revisions, evidence generation and any other activities which build the value of the product line

·      Communicate progress to business team and inform team of any “out of bounds” conditions

·      Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and disseminate knowledge accordingly

Desired Skills & Experience:

·      B.Sc Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology/Computer Science

·      MBA - advantage

·      Minimum 5 years experience in Product management

·      Experience in medical device industry - significant advantage

·      Experience in the software development processes – advantage

·      Experience with web-based application development – an advantage

·      Experience in imaging systems - advantage

·      Fluent in English - written and spoken

·      Fluent in the use of AI engines (Copilot, Perplexity or others)

·      Experience creating product requirements, roadmaps, and business cases.

·      Acquainted with project management tools for agile teams

·      Ability to travel aboard

·      Strong presentation skills

·      Strong interpersonal skills

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
