Production Manager | Chemical & Industrial Manufacturing | Energy

A publicly traded industrial company is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and scale its manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining production management, process optimization, people leadership, and industrial scale-up. The role is responsible for driving production performance, quality and on-time delivery, while establishing robust processes and operational standards for scalable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for production, quality, efficiency, and delivery targets.

• Develop and manage monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.

• Lead day-to-day production operations and proactively resolve bottlenecks and process issues.

• Establish and maintain standardized work procedures, operational routines, KPIs, and performance metrics.

• Lead employee qualification, certification, and ongoing training programs.

• Drive continuous improvement across production, chemical/process, and assembly operations.

• Lead the transition from development and pilot production to robust, scalable industrial manufacturing.

• Improve process stability, productivity, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.

• Lead organizational change and build a strong industrial, accountable, and performance-oriented culture.

• Manage production employees and shift-based teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Manager in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience managing automated production lines and manufacturing processes.

• Experience in chemical, process, materials, printing, coating, or other process-oriented manufacturing — a significant advantage.

• Strong technical understanding of industrial processes, automation, and process control

• SOP | GMP | MES | SCADA | PLC | Lean Manufacturing | Process Optimization | Scale-Up

• Proven experience scaling production from development / pilot stages to stable, high-quality industrial production.

• Experience implementing manufacturing procedures, management routines, KPIs, and performance measurement.

• Proven experience managing employees and shift-based production teams.

• Strong hands-on problem-solving and operational leadership skills.
