A Snapshot of Your Day In coordination with the relevant internal Siemens Energy (SE) stakeholders, you coordinate service activities on Siemens Energy rotating equipment (gas turbines, steam turbines and generators) in the power plants of our customers. Throughout the process, you lead the communication with our customers, while steering the service activities. How You’ll Make an Impact (responsabilities)

• You are responsible to manage the maintenance activities on power power trains striving for the highest satisfaction of our customers and benchmark availability and reliability of our fleet. The fleet we serve consists of gas turbines, steam turbines and generators, mainly in utility scale power generation plants (Central) but also for selected industrial applications (Distributed power generation & cogeneration). These service activities are typically based on Long Term Service contracts including the scheduled maintenance consisting of new parts, repairs, and field services. But your role is also to manage the unscheduled maintenance, and the extra works resulting out of Findings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field service, EQHS, and finance, to gather necessary information and develop an efficient management of the contracts.

• Analyze customer’s requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.

• Coordinate and lead external meetings with customers and internal meetings to assign responsibilities, review progress, and ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled.

• Develop proposals for upgrades and modernizations, adapting power plants to the needs of the changing generation market. You also promote decarbonization solutions and plant efficiency improvements.

• Similar to other project management roles, overseeing the budget is a key task. This includes mid/long-term budgeting and planning.

• Develop strategies and tactics for negotiating technical upgrades, pricing, and other relevant aspects to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Engage in negotiations with customers to address concerns, overcome objections, and find common ground to reach favorable outcomes.

• Implementing quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and satisfy client and contract requirements. What You Bring (requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

• 5 years previous experience in project management, preferably in gas turbine, steam turbine and generator services as a Project Manager or similar role.

• Customer focus, active listener and thorough understanding of customer’s needs and expectations which we have to meet to make them successful.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew with the ability to write clear and coordinate meetings and presentations, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of proposals.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously meeting tight deadlines and managing the pressure set by customers during the proposal process.

• Focused, organized, and receptive to other people opinions and views, ability to analyze and collaborate efficiently with teams.

• Drive, energy, persistence, and capability to enthusiasm people around you.

• Analytical thinking to understand customer demands and orientation to detail, reviewing and carefully editing proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with customer requirements.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• 80% Project Execution

• Systematically follow-up on the planned maintenance activities with the customer and address the operational challenges to reach benchmark reliability and availability of our fleet.

• Develop and prepare and lead the planned outages which are part of the maintenance plan, thereby striving for the highest Safety and Quality standards, respecting the agreed schedule and achieve the highest customer satisfaction.

• Actively manage the project financials, in close collaboration with your CPM, drive proactive Change Management, striving for customer satisfaction and GM increase for SE.

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, and resource allocation.

• Ensure project compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and EHS regulations.

• Identify, resolve, and escalate risks and issues that affect project margin and schedule.

• Guide continuous improvement plans and identify project expansion opportunities.

Certifications

• PMP

Education

• Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 5 years experience in engineering and/or project management, experience in gas turbines, steam turbines and generators is a plus

• Excellent English and Hebrew written and oral communication skills

• Knowledge of German language is a plus
