Purchasing Manager

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection and border surveillance. We are looking for Purchasing Manager to join our team. Job Description: • Manage the tactical procurement team (order approvals, measure OTD, deliveries, returns). • Oversee and control material arrivals and shortages in alignment with production work plans. • Manage order confirmations and track expected arrivals. • Manage subcontractors in the mechanics field. • Oversee materials for OBS (Obsolete) and EOL (End-of-Life) activities, ensuring smooth transitions. • Implement and execute MRP recommendations for material postponement or advancement. • Establish and develop advanced work methods. • Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements: Requirements: • Relevant degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management or matching experience. • At least 5 years of experience working with suppliers and subcontractors. • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing organization. Significant advantage for experience from defense companies. • Experience working with Priority - an advantage. • High-level English - mandatory. • Ability to work in a team, proactiveness and "can-do approach”. • Good communication skills and negotiation abilities.
